Accessed 3 Nov. 2016. Getting into Auschwitz wasn’t hard. Being taken prisoner was easy because of how frequently it happened. Wiltold Pilecki was one of the fist ones to get out. What happened was he and 2 others where assigned to work at some kind of bakery right outside the fences of the camp. They slowly made it outside by overpowering each guard one by on together quietly and stole their clothes. When the got out they ran for it. Once they got far enough no one saw them they changed and berried their clothes from camp in the snow. They where running around the country and eventually made it to France. They changed their names and didn’t say anything about the past. 6 months later when no one expected anything they went back to their homes, their families, and started talking about the resistance and what they saw
